Tokyo University and Graduated School of Social Welfare agreed on academic cooperation and exchange with three different universities in Viet Nam.



Nagoya Campus staff was sent to Viet Nam in order to promote international exchange.  
TUGSSW agreed on the academic cooperation and exchange with the following three different universities;

・exchange of academic materials, publications,and information
・joint research projects and conferences

The University of Da Nang

Date of Agreement:  February 28, 2011

The University of Da Nang was established in 1994 in the largest city in Central Viet Nam, by combining University of Technology, Da Nang, and Junior College of Education in Da Nang.  UD has well-equipped facilities and magnificent surroundings.  There are nearly 2,000 staff members and 70,000 students in 2011.  As one of the five leading national universities in Viet Nam, UD has produced many graduates who undertake principal roles in academic, educational and economic professions in Central Viet Nam, the Western Highlands and throughout the country.  UD is also known as having a global perspective, fostering international exchange and international cooperation, and making contribution to the international community.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Pedagogy


Date of Agreement:  March 2, 2011


Saigon University of Pedagogy was established in 1957, and was renamed Ho Chi Minh City University of Pedagogy in 1976. Both HCMC and Hanoi University of Education now are the major teachers college in southern Viet Nam.  In 1995, HCMC was affiliated with Viet Nam National University, Ho Chi Minh City, then became Ho Chi Minh City University of Pedagogy in 1999.  HCMC has University of Education, Faculty of Vietnamese Linguistics and Literature, Vietnamese Language Program for Foreign Students as degree program.  It widely accepts foreign students, just like other universities such as Viet Nam National University, Ho Chi Minh City, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, and Hanoi Universities of Foreign Studies.
