>>Downloads Admissions Information[PDF・1.5MB] Years to attend, Enrollment date Two Years, April / September admission, 2010 Campuses Ikebukuro Campus, Nagoya Campus Program characteristics The Japanese Language Program, Tokyo University of Social Welfare, intends to provide international students with the proficiency in Japanese language which is required for passing the EJU (Examination for Japanese University Admissions for International Students) and for entering Japanese colleges/graduate schools. Students are expected to improve their Japanese proficiency (especially in reading and writing) to the degree where they can conduct research and other academic activities (including writing thesis and essays) after entering Japanese colleges/ graduate schools. The program also offers students the opportunity to deepen their understanding of Japan through its social, industrial and cultural phenomena. The program has two academic semesters and admits students twice a year - spring and autumn. Our experienced teachers will conduct interactive, discussion-oriented classes for international students, according to each students language ability. It is expected that students will enroll in academic programs at Tokyo University of Social Welfare after completing the Japanese Language Program. Admissions Information (1) Qualifications for Application Those who have completed 12 or more years of formal schooling and eligible to enter colleges/ universities in their home countries. Those who passed Japanese Language Proficiency Test, higher than Level 2 or 3. (2) Admission Procedure An interview will be scheduled in applicants’ place of residence.
