Freshman Foreign Students from Myanmar Visited the Great Buddha in Kamakura !
32 freshman students from Myanmar, who is going to study at Japanese Language Program from this October, visited the Great Buddha in Kamakura on 16th October, 2016, prior to their new school year and classes.
Kamakura is famous for many tourist attractions, and for people of Myanmar, most famous of all is the Great Buddha. They visited on this day, because it was "Thadingyut Full Moon Day" which is the national holiday in Myanmar for Buddhistic festival.
It was a fine day, and so very meaningful for the students to start new life in Japan.
